Hey Diane! Did you go to Sidewalk this year? It looks like there was less local film this time around... With no Keener Ledbetter action, I'm less sad about being nine hours away.
Got any inside scoop on the making of that Gorilla Revival thing?
Hi Aaron. Yep, went to Sidewalk and had a blast. This was my first time to get to go to the awards ceremony, where I got to share a booth and a bite to eat with Joe Swanberg and his wife and another filmmaker to watch, Frank Ross.
And then it's always fun to hang out with friends in the festival setting. We saw some really nice Mumblecore films and documentaries.
As far as H!GR goes, well, I know about the one scene I was in, and I heard stories about the others (the turtle wasn't harmed). And I was there when Jason got the voice-over from Jamie Stewart at 2:30 a.m. on the streets of downtown B'ham...
